Here at Daytona Jack, we specialize in supplying professional-grade hydraulic jacks, lifts, and automotive tools for auto repair shops, DIY mechanics, and racing teams. Our founder Jack Smith started the business over 15 years ago after finding most consumer jacks lacked the quality and durability demanded by professionals.
Initially operating out of his garage, Jack began importing industrial-strength jacks direct from manufacturers and providing them to shops in the Daytona Beach area. Word quickly spread about the unbeatable strength and smooth control of these jacks, and Jack’s fledgling business was soon fielding calls from all over Florida.
To keep up with demand, he opened a small retail storefront in 2009 on Beach Street in downtown Daytona Beach. This allowed Jack to expand his inventory to include floor jacks, jack stands, automotive creepers, and other specialty tools. The shop became a popular spot for everyone from backyard tinkerers to elite racing crews looking to equip their garages.
Our Growth Over the Years
The reputation for Daytona Jack’s premium jacks, competitive pricing, and expertise continued to grow far beyond Daytona Beach. Here are some of the key milestones over the past 15 years:
- 2007 – Jack begins importing commercial jacks and lifts out of his garage to supply local auto shops
- 2009 – Opened our first retail store in Daytona Beach offering jacks, tools, and accessories
- 2011 – Expanded our product catalog to over 100 SKUs including lift tables, air tools, toolboxes
- 2013 – Launched our ecommerce website to provide nationwide shipping and reach DIY customers

Jack’s passion for cars naturally led Daytona Jack to develop close ties with racing teams competing at the iconic Daytona International Speedway. During major events like the Rolex 24 Hours and Daytona 500, our stores become a pit stop for crews to grab parts and supplies.
Many elite racing teams from NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, and others trust us to service their jacks before races and provide trackside support. We even design custom lightweight jacks for Formula 1 teams that meet strict weight limits.
